Forever Fitness was started with a determined goal to help improve the lifestyle of aging adults through exercise and movement.  Exercise is an important part of everyone’s everyday health and this especially holds true for older adults. Experts say aging adults should aim to be as active as possible and that the benefits of exercise will significantly increase the chances of living a longer, healthier life.

There are many benefits of exercising when you’re a senior:

    • It improves your strength and helps you stay independent.
    • It improves your balance and helps prevents falls.
    • It gives you more energy.
    • It reduces the chances of illness such as heart disease, diabetes, or osteoporosis.
    • It can improve your mood and fight off depression.
    • It can help improve cognitive function (Healthy Body and Healthy Mind).

Our dedicated team will help design a custom program that will incorporate flexibility training, strength training, endurance training, cardiovascular exercise, nutrition, and mental stimulation.  Our mission is to improve the quality of life for each of our Clients through movement and exercise.

Meet Our Team

Tammy Kessler 

RN, ASFA Certified

Tammy is the President and General Manager of Forever Fitness. Tammy has always had a passion for sports having grown up playing field hockey and lacrosse.  She went on to play Division 1 lacrosse at UMBC and it was there she became passionate about working out and exercising.  After college Tammy earned her nursing degree and for the last 15 years has worked as an Registered Nurse at Johns Hopkins as well as working as the Delegating Nurse at Symphony Manor. Tammy leveraged her experience as a health care provider and love of exercise to start Forever Fitness.  Her goal is to help aging adults improve their quality of life and work to ensure her clients achieve healthy body and healthy mind.  Tammy resides in Baltimore with her Husband, 2 children, and 2 Dogs.

Andrea Wirts 

ASFA Certified

After the birth of her third child, Andrea made the decision to forgo her carreer in education and become a stay-at-home mom.  It was then where she found her passion for fitness and exercise.  Andrea enjoys group exercise classes, running, weightlifting, yoga, and tai chi.  She has combined her background in education with her love of physical fitness to achieve the goal of improving the health and wellness of aging adults.  Andrea is a Certified Master Trainer that always comes armed with a big friendly smile and warm demeanor.  Andrea resides in Reisterstown, MD with her husband and two youngest children.

Debi Van Camp

ASFA Certified

After teaching for 15 years, Debi had made the decision to become a stay-at-home mom and PTA Board Member.  Debi’s passion for fitness developed while in college and she wanted to combine her love of fitness, teaching, and helping others. Debi enjoys personal training and teaching group exercise classes. Debi is a Certified Master Trainer as well as holds a Masters Degree in Reading. She loves making connections and educating others in fitness and nutrition.  Debi resides in Reisterstown, MD with her husband and 3 children.
